The AIMS Study
Why IS THIS STUDY BEING DONE?
The purpose of this study is to investigate a new computer-based treatment for Veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan who are having trouble with memory, concentration, attention and decision-making in the context of having posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Who can Participate?
To participate you must be:
- • A Veteran of OEF / OIF / OND
- • Willing and able to travel to the San Francisco VA on two separate occasions
- • Willing and able to undergo mental health and cognitive testing
- • Over 18 years of age

We will ask you some questions over the phone which takes about 30 minutes, and if you are a potential match for the study, we will invite you for the first of two in-person meetings.
How long will I be in the Study?
This study consists of two in-person interviews at the SFVA which last approximately 2-4 hours each; the 2 visits should be completed within one month.
Will I be paid for my participation?
If you are eligible, you will receive $60 dollars for each interview; so if you are asked to attend both interviews, you will receive $120 dollars for your time and travel to each meeting.
