HIV Begins to Yield Secrets of How It Hides in Cells

In the first study of its kind in the VA health system, researchers seek to gain knowledge of their patients’ genomic composition to shape more precise treatment plans for depression. Principal investigators Kewchang Lee and Steven Batki discuss the study, funded by $12 million from the Department of Veterans Affairs. It seeks to enroll 2,000 pairs of doctors and veterans who have not responded well to previous treatment for depression. Read
